BKC SK287 14' Long Distance Travel Open Water Kayak W/ Collapsible Paddle Included

The BKC SK287 is a fairly inexpensive option that gives a top-tier kayaking experience.

With a length of 14 foot 9 inches, this 44-pound sit-inside fishing kayak is extremely fast and cuts through water swiftly. The cockpit dimensions are 33.5 inches long by 17.75 inches wide allowing an average-sized person to get in or out of it with ease.

Inside the cockpit, there’s a built-in seat with an adjustable backrest as well as a foot rudder-controlled system. There’s not much wiggle room inside the cockpit, but thanks to the adjustable seating, you can manage to perfectly position yourself to effortlessly reach the pedals for the rudder.

Right behind the seat are 2 flush-mounted rod holders covered with caps so they don’t hold any stagnant water. They are placed behind your back, but with some time you will easily get adjusted to reaching them.

You are also provided with a warranty for the hull for 5 years, and a 1-year warranty for the parts. Additionally, the rotomolded HDPE hull is UV protected, which means it doesn’t deteriorate quickly under the heavy sun.
