Shipping

 

Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place your order. You will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your Item Is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the preauthorization and reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days). We will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

 

Order Shipment:

If your order is stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date at

your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order feel free to follow up with us at support@kayakshops.com.

 

Damages:

We take the necessary precautions to make sure shipments and larger shipments like boats arrive without any damages. Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damages you should refuse the delivery and call us immediately and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.

 

Pricing

 

What Items Don't Qualify For Shipping Discount?

There are some products that do not offer free shipping discount such as our kayak trailers and electronics such as GPS. Each product that is excluded will have a note next to it in the product description to further aid you in your purchase. For any more questions feel free to email us at support@kayakshops.com.

 

How Are Pricing Errors Handled?:

In the case on one of two issues: 1. The item has been mispriced due to system or human error. And 2. We have identified tampering with our checkout system to obtain lower prices. We reserve the right to cancel the order. If you encounter a price that looks suspicious or there is an error please contact us support@kayakshops.com.

 

Am I Charged Sales Tax?:

All orders that are shipped are tax free unless you live in Michigan or Texas. Residents of the state of texas are charged a sales tax of 8.25%. Any resident of Michigan and Kentucky is also charged a State Tax of 6%.

 

Returns

 

Cancellations & Refunds:

All orders canceled after 48 hours are subject to an administration fee whether or not your order has shipped. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for return shipping charges. Refunds will be issued to the original credit card you used when placing the order.

**For backorders, a backorder fee applys for refunds. We split the credit card processing fee with the customer which for us is 4.4%. Customer gets charged 2.2% for cancellation of a backorder.

Accessories & Sails: 

1. You have 15 days to contact us and 30 days to return it from the date received. If the item is in your possession more than 15 days without contact, it will be considered used and we will not issue a refund or replacement without exceptions.
Shipping cost is paid by both seller and buyer half and half.
2. All returned items MUST BE in the original packaging and you MUST PROVIDE us with the shipping tracking number, specific reason for the return, and your order ID. 
3. We will refund YOUR FULL PURCHASE AMOUNT, upon receipt of the item in its original condition and packaging with all components and accessories included.
4. We will bear all the shipping cost if the product(s) is (are) not as advertised or damaged.

Kayaks:

We want you to love the items you purchase from Kayakshops. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return items for a full refund within 30 days, subject to the conditions below.

All returns purchased from KayakShops must include the following or it will be rejected and returned to you at your cost:

  1. Original Condition, no physical damage (exclude damages sustained during transportation) All accessories, manuals, warranty registration card, etc. Original UPC/serial# intact on product and on retail package (Proof of Purchase)
  2. No restocking fee will be applied on return for defective and shipping damaged product. Shipment received with visible damages, have the carrier document the damage (s) in writing, a detailed description of the damages before signing anything, return the                 damaged kayak to the driver, and contact us immediately via email @ info@kayakshops.com or call our customer care team. If the product is signed for without damage being reported or if the driver leaves the property without the damage                 being reported, kayakshops Company will not be able to replace it. You will have to pay return freight charges.
  3. Customer is responsible for return shipping expenses of undamaged products unless otherwise explicitly stated on the product. Replacements will be shipped at our expense.
  4. Shipping charge is the cost of us sending the product to you and will not be refunded. 
  5. All returns with missing part(s) (including, but not limited to, accessories, manuals, warranty registration cards, original manufacturer packing materials and retail packaging) will not be processed until the part is received.
  6. Customer is required to ship the return products with sufficient shipping packaging and void fill material inside to prevent product from physically damaged during return transportation. Customer is responsible for any loss and damages in return shipping.
  7. Upon our acceptance of the merchandise in like new condition in strict conformance with the basic criteria and standard returns policy, the purchase price (less shipping and handling) will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase.
  8. Over-sized items are shipped via LTL freight.

 

How Do I Track My Order:

All orders include a tracking number that is in your account dashboard, once your receive our order confirmation email you will have a email saying your item has shipped and subsequent tracking within your order dashboard on status.

All your credit card and personal information is completely safe we use advanced SSL encryption also known as Secured Socket Layer which provide a massive boost to transaction safety as well our payment providers allow us to include a secondary level or security and handling.
